Edward Snowden’s actions are tricky to judge because while he was able to reveal the hidden policies of the government that the government uses to spy on the common people, he went against the confidentiality that a government agent requires. The government puts its trust on the intelligence workers because of a reason as in the 21st century; data is the most valuable yet most destructive element. If data falls into the wrong hands, it might bring devastation. Snowden was indeed a genius who had both talent and confidence to leak confidential government document to the public and while he considered it as his responsibility to let people know about how they are being spied on, his actions were highly debatable.
